Basketball Recap: Tioga Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Tioga couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 58-37 to the St. Thomas More Cougars on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Cougars are ranked seventh).

Tioga's defeat dropped their record down to 22-11. As for St. Thomas More, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 31-5.

As of now, neither Tioga nor St. Thomas More have any future games scheduled.
