Football Recap: Farmington Farmers vs. St. Teresa Bulldogs
Farmington put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the St. Teresa Bulldogs as the Farmington Farmers made off with a 42-18 win. Fans of the Farmers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ point.
Despite the loss, St. Teresa still got an impressive performance from Caiden Kernaghan, who threw for 110 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 93 yards.
Farmington pushed their record up to 3-0 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. Teresa, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farmington will host Bureau Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Farmington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 point or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Bureau Valley likes a good challenge. As for St. Teresa, they will welcome Elmwood/Brimfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
