Shadow Ridge got themselves on the board against Maryvale on Wednesday, but Maryvale never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 22-0 win. The Stallions haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Avery Mackey looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Liliana Moreno was incredible, firing off four doubles, two stolen bases, and five RBI while going 4-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Looking ahead, Shadow Ridge will head out to challenge Valley Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maryvale, they are taking a road trip to take on South Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
