Basketball Recap: St. Augustine Takes a Loss

St. Augustine played against Orange Park and lost via forfeit.

St. Augustine is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.4 points per game. As for Orange Park, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-11.

When St. Augustine and Orange Park next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. St. Augustine will try to stop St. Johns Country Day's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Orange Park will challenge Fleming Island and their four-game winning streak on February 6th.
