Brazos Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 13-8 win over the BVCHEA HomeSchool Mustangs. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 10-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Campbell Marler made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 17 batters over six innings while giving up six earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.
