Basketball Recap: Apache Junction Prospectors vs. Seton Catholic Sentinels
Apache Junction extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 2-19. They took a blow against the Seton Catholic Sentinels, falling 92-40. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 100-36 two weeks ago.
As for Seton Catholic, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-3. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.
Kj Fauske produced another solid effort going 10-for-16 on his way to 24 points and six steals. He has been hot, having posted 20 or more points the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ashton Ries, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 10 points.
