Soccer Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Greenville Red Raiders. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Eagles it sure didn't stay that way.

Greenwood now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Greenville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1-1.

Looking ahead, Greenwood will face off against T.L. Hanna at 7:00 p.m. on March 21st. Greenville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mauldin at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Greenville's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Mauldin's offense will have their work cut out for them.
