Basketball Recap: Basic Wolves vs. Boulder City Eagles

Basic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boulder City Eagles. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Basic lost, don't look at Kenny Williams. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 16 en route to 20 points. Another player making a difference was Kelani Stafford, who posted ten points and six boards.
