Basketball Recap: Tri-Township Falls Despite Big Games from Addison Hendrixson and Jayde Pryor

Tri-Township was the 38-36 winner over Washington Township when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tri-Township Tigers fell to the Washington Township Senators 37-33.

Tri-Township's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Jayde Pryor and Addison Hendrixson. Pryor posted 20 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Hendrixson earned seven points and eight rebounds. That was a full 60.6% of Tri-Township's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Even though they lost, Tri-Township smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Washington Township's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brooklyn Campbell, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards. Campbell is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Little, who had 14 points.

Tri-Township's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Washington Township, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

Tri-Township will challenge Kouts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington Township, they will face off against Morgan Township at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
