Basketball Recap: Long Trail Comes Up Short

Long Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the West Rutland Golden Horde, falling 65-41. Long Trail was probably out for revenge after losing 67-45 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Long Trail now has a losing record at 4-5. As for West Rutland, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Long Trail has already played their next match, a 75-42 defeat against Twin Valley on the 24th. As for West Rutland, they will host Arlington Memorial at 2:30 p.m. on February 1st.
