Volleyball Recap: Bishop Mclaughlin Catholic Starts Season with Loss at Home

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the East Lake Eagles on Tuesday. The Hurricanes have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-23.

Looking ahead, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will square off against Classical Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tarpon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th.
