Volleyball Recap: Haleyville Comes Up Short

Haleyville and Fayette County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Haleyville had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Haleyville's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Fayette County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 30-6.

Haleyville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Hamilton on the 16th. Fayette County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
