Softball Recap: Crean Lutheran Takes a Loss

Crean Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 14-4 to the Brea Olinda Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 21-3 loss on April 10th.

Amanda Angel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Crean Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Brea Olinda, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Crean Lutheran is set to face off against their familiar foe Troy at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brea Olinda will square off against rival Foothill at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
