Conner waltzed into their contest on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lafayette Generals. The Cougars were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Generals, so the Cougars were just returning the favor.

Charlotte Patton paced Conner's offense, picking up 11 kills. Patton got some help from Shylyn Koerber and her 12 assists. Patton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Conner's record is now 25-7. As for Lafayette, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-16 record this season.

Conner has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against North Oldham on the 18th. Lafayette has also already played their next contest (against Greenwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
