Recap: Founders Christian Falcons vs. Hardin Hornets
The Founders Christian Falcons lost to the Hardin Hornets back in December of 2021, but the Founders Christian Falcons didn't allow the Hardin Hornets the same satisfaction on Thursday. Founders Christian put the hurt on Hardin with a sharp 57-37 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Founders Christian.
Founders Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joseph Morales, who scored 20 points along with 4 steals. Morales is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Baker, who scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Hardin still got an impressive performance from Ricko Denman, who scored 25 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Denman scored a full 67.6% of Hardin's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Founders Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Hardin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Founders Christian will face off against Spurger at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hardin won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Colmesneil at 10:30 a.m. on December 1st.
