Basketball Recap: Antelope Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Antelope entered their game against Placer on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Titans took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillmen. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hillmen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Antelope's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Placer, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Antelope and Placer should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Titans will face off against Scotts Valley on Thursday with a big rank advantage (20 vs. 979). Meanwhile, Placer (ranked 43rd) will meet Homestead (ranked 663rd) at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
