Basketball Recap: Grant Comes Up Short

Grant lost against Benson Tech back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grant Generals had to suffer through a 75-27 loss at the hands of the Benson Tech Astros. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Astros are ranked 14th).

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Benson Tech, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-4.

Looking ahead, Grant will welcome McDaniel at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Benson Tech, they will take on Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Benson Tech has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
