Volleyball Game Preview: Pontiac Indians vs. Peotone Blue Devils

The Pontiac Indians will square off against the Peotone Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pontiac is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

On Thursday, Pontiac had just enough and edged out Prairie Central 2-1.

Pontiac was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-9, 25-13.

Pontiac found their leader in sophomore Izzy Hinz, who had 13 digs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Peotone, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Herscher on Tuesday. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While Peotone won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-22.

Pontiac's record is now 26-8. As for Peotone, their record now sits at 20-13.
