Basketball Game Preview: Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles vs. North Rose-Wolcott Cougars

The Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles will square off against the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clyde-Savannah has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 181 points over their last three games.

Clyde-Savannah took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 67-38 win over Marion. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Black Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, North Rose-Wolcott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to Red Creek at home by a 66-47 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 778th, while the Rams are ranked 322nd).

Clyde-Savannah's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for North Rose-Wolcott, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Clyde-Savannah was able to grind out a solid victory over North Rose-Wolcott in their previous meeting back in January, winning 62-53. Will Clyde-Savannah repeat their success, or does North Rose-Wolcott have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
