Basketball Recap: Addison Trail Comes Up Short

Addison Trail's tournament run continued when they took on Romeoville on Thursday. The Addison Trail Blazers lost to the Romeoville Spartans on the road by a 74-56 margin. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Romeoville, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Addison Trail and Dunlap will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Addison Trail knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matches -- so hopefully Dunlap likes a good challenge. As for Romeoville, they will square off against Kenwood at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Kenwood will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Romeoville surely won't give up without a fight.
