Volleyball Recap: Belleville Takes a Loss

Belleville lost against Lake Country Lutheran back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lightning. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bree Ranguette paced Belleville's offense, picking up five kills. Ranguette got some help from Hayden Caskey and her five assists. Anna Alexander controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Belleville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Belleville will face off against Waterloo at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Brookfield Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
