Volleyball Game Preview: Altoona Mountain Lions vs. Chambersburg Trojans

The Altoona Mountain Lions will square off against the Chambersburg Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chambersburg took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Altoona, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Altoona turned things around against Central Dauphin East on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1.

Altoona had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-15, 25-9, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Chambersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Carlisle, falling 3-0.

Chambersburg was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Carlisle work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 29-27, 25-23, 25-21.

Chambersburg now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Altoona, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
