Softball Recap: Dallastown Wildcats vs. Spring Grove Rockets

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Oxford, Dallastown was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spring Grove Rockets and snuck past 6-4. For Dallastown, this counts as revenge for the 12-11 defeat Spring Grove walked away with the last time they faced one another on April 9th.

Kameryn Paules was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits. Paules was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI.

In other batting news, Zoe Roland was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Brooke Altland was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

The win got Dallastown back to even at 5-5. As for Spring Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
