Basketball Recap: Battle Creek Takes a Loss

Battle Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 66-15 loss at the hands of the Forrest Rockets. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-6.

Battle Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Forrest, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Battle Creek won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mt. Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forrest, they will venture away from home to face off against Cannon County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cannon County will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Forrest surely won't give up without a fight.
