Pace won the last time they faced Gulf Breeze and things went their way on Friday too. The Patriots claimed a resounding 59-6 win over the Dolphins. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Patriots' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Dolphins are ranked 300th).

The critical scores for Pace came from Caleb Curry and Braiden Cheshire.

Pace didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kayden Batchelor and Cheshire. Cheshire got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Pace now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gulf Breeze, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Pace and Gulf Breeze will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Patriots see the field they'll take on Andalusia at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Gulf Breeze, their break will end when they face Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
