Baseball Recap: Collinsville Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Collinsville challenged Durant on Wednesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Lions, falling 8-1. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2019.

Collinsville's loss dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Durant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-12.

Collinsville has already played their next game, an 11-0 win against Will Rogers College on the 7th. As for Durant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Shawnee on the 7th.
