Haslett had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 63-50 win over the Williamston Hornets. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Hornets are ranked 326th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Haslett's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Williamston, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-17.
