The home team had won the previous three meetings between Pine Grove and Walnut, and Walnut kept the tradition alive. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Wildcats on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in August.

Leading Walnut to victory were Preslee Robbins and Josie Meeks. Robbins had 11 digs, while Meeks had nine digs. That's the most digs Meeks has posted since back in August.

Pine Grove's loss dropped their record down to 16-9-2. As for Walnut, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3-1 record this season.

Pine Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Falkner on the 20th. As for Walnut, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Ripley on the 20th.
