Football Recap: Murrieta Valley Starts Season with Victory Against Rancho Cucamonga + How To Watch

Murrieta Valley gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 28-26 win over the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Nighthawks also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Murrieta Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ty Isaia led the charge by throwing for 211 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes, while also rushing for 52 yards.
