If Edisto wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bridges Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Addie Taylor. The Bridges Prep Buccaneers snuck past the Edisto Cougars with a 23-19 victory on Tuesday thanks in part to Taylor, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 boards. She also posted six blocks, which is notable because Bridges Prep is 4-2 when she posts at least five blocks, but 0-9 otherwise.

The win made it two in a row for Bridges Prep and bumps their season record up to 4-11. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Barnwell and 2-14 Edisto. As for Edisto, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Bridges Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-37 loss against Hampton County on the 5th. Edisto has also already played their next game (against Barnwell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
