Softball Preview: Shenango Wildcats vs. Bentworth Bearcats

The Shenango Wildcats will take on the Bentworth Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Shenango's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Bentworth's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Sydney Gonglik was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoie McDonald, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Bentworth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Burgettstown only posted a batting average of .000.

Shenango's record is now 16-5. As for Bentworth, their record now sits at 18-2.
