After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gabrielino, Mountain View was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Marshall Eagles. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Marshall, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View will challenge El Monte at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain View is facing El Monte at the right time seeing as El Monte is stuck on a five-game losing streak. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Marshall will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: South El Monte will have lost four straight heading into Wednesday's match.
