Basketball Recap: Glens Falls Takes a Loss

Glens Falls was the 52-32 winner over Stillwater when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Glens Falls Black Bears were outmatched by the Stillwater Warriors and fell 66-31. The contest marked the Black Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Black Bears players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sarah Wolfstich, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Holly Hirsch, who had two points and six rebounds.

Even though they lost, Glens Falls smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Glens Falls' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Stillwater, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
