Basketball Recap: Paulding's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Paulding was the 47-40 winner over Bryan when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 49-38 to the Golden Bears on Thursday. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

When it comes to explaining why Paulding lost, don't look at Kayleigh Dunham. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. Dunham has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: she's posted one of at least 67% every time she's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Addi Pease, who posted a point along with six boards, five assists, and four steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Paulding fell to 2-1. As for Bryan, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Paulding will take on Tinora at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bryan, they will challenge Edgerton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
