Basketball Recap: Nine Straight Home Victories for Eastern

Eastern waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Symmes Valley Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 64-45. The Eagles pushed the score to 58-38 by the end of the third, a deficit the Vikings cut but never quite recovered from.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ethan Smith, who posted 17 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tanner Corn, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points and six boards.
