Valley Lutheran won the last time they faced Carrollton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Chargers came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 6-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Axel Schuette made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple. That triple was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Dylan Pugh and Ben Diener did most of the damage at the plate: Pugh got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs, while Diener went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Pugh a new career-high.

Valley Lutheran's record is now 11-6. As for Carrollton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

As of now, neither Valley Lutheran nor the Cavaliers have any future games scheduled.
