Baseball Recap: Veritas Prep Falcons vs. Horizon Honors Eagles

After flying high against Heritage Academy last Tuesday, Veritas Prep came back down to earth. The Falcons fell 6-3 to the Horizon Honors Eagles on Thursday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Cade Huseth put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
