Baseball Preview: Archbishop McNicholas Rockets vs. Roger Bacon Spartans

Jostworth was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Roger Bacon scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Western Hills a 16-0 shutout. The win was just what Roger Bacon needed coming off of a 17-7 defeat in their prior contest.

Like Archbishop McNicholas, Roger Bacon also got a great game from a two-way player: Kyle Hauser. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Hauser was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
