Volleyball Recap: Jackson Academy's Run of Seven Straight Victories Now Over

Jackson Academy and Madison-Ridgeland Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Jackson Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Raiders seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Despite the loss, Jackson Academy still got an impressive performance from Anna Holladay Craft, who had 15 digs and two aces. Craft is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Keira Hariel gave her former team something to remember she by as she had 13 assists and six digs for Madison-Ridgeland Academy.

The defeat snapped Jackson Academy's winning streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 31-10-1 record. As for Madison-Ridgeland Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 30-15 record this season.
