Basketball Recap: First Baptist Comes Up Short

First Baptist took a blow against the Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors on Tuesday, falling 57-14.

Annapolis Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kenzie Stice led the charge by going 10-for-17 on her way to 24 points along with eight steals and five assists. Stice's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. TJ Mouton was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds.

First Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9.

First Baptist will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Macedonian Christian at 5:30 p.m. on February 9. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harvest Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Annapolis Christian Academy will need to watch out since Harvest Christian has now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
