Softball Recap: Choctaw County Takes a Loss

Choctaw County lost against Fruitdale on March 10th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Choctaw County lost 19-2 to Fruitdale. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Choctaw County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zhiyan Dubose, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Kamyliah Chess also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Choctaw County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Fruitdale, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-13 record.

Looking ahead, Choctaw County will head out on the road to take on Greensboro at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fruitdale, they will host Southern Choctaw at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fruitdale's pitchers better be ready for this one: Southern Choctaw has averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
