Softball Recap: Lake Stevens Vikings vs. Cascade Bruins
Lake Stevens never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Cascade on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bruins with a sharp 10-2 win. Considering the Vikings have won three matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Charli Pugmire spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
