Softball Preview: Whitko Wildcats vs. Heritage Patriots

The Whitko Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Heritage Patriots at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Last Wednesday, it was a hard-fought game, but Whitko had to settle for a 4-3 loss against Wabash.

Cassidy Skinner put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 21 batters over 11 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Skinner has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive pitching appearances.
