Football Game Preview: Pinnacle Pioneers vs. Williams Field Black Hawks + How To Watch

The Pinnacle Pioneers will host the Williams Field Black Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williams Field took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Pinnacle, who comes in off a win.

Pinnacle is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Salpointe Catholic, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Pinnacle was ranked eighth). The Pioneers walked away with a 28-21 win over the Lancers on Friday. The Pioneers pushed the score to 28-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lancers cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Williams Field unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 56-28 loss at the hands of Brophy College Prep.

Pinnacle will have to keep a close watch on Q Skillings and Courshawn Hill, a pair of players who had a big impact on Williams Field's prior game. Skillings rushed for 79 yards and two TDs, while Hill rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown. Hill's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Trey Smith, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.

Pinnacle's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Williams Field, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.
