Baseball Recap: DeSoto Central Comes Up Short

While it was DeSoto Central who put the first runs on the board on Thursday, it was Tupelo who put up more. The Jaguars took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Wave. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 11-8 to the Golden Wave when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for DeSoto Central and nudges their season record down to 13-12. As for Tupelo, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-14.

As of now, neither DeSoto Central nor the Golden Wave have any future games scheduled.
