Andover dropped their record down to 13-10 on Friday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They lost 9-2 to the Goddard Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since April 15th.

As for Goddard, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory they have posted against Andover since April 14, 2022.

For Goddard's part, Taylor Cape was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple was Cape's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Landon Kohlhorst, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Andover will face off against Salina Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goddard, they will square off against Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
