Softball Recap: New Smyrna Beach Takes a Loss

New Smyrna Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 14-0 to the Spruce Creek Hawks. If the Barracudas were looking for revenge after losing 17-0 to the Hawks when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

New Smyrna Beach's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Spruce Creek, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
