Softball Recap: Abington Takes a Loss

If Abington was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Cheltenham on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Galloping Ghosts came up short against the Souderton Indians on Monday, falling 14-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Galloping Ghosts have suffered since April 2nd.

Abington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Souderton, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Coming up, Abington will be playing in front of their home fans against Wissahickon at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Galloping Ghosts are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Souderton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
