Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Phoenix Country Day). They blew past the Tempe Prep Knights, posting an 84-20 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Phoenix Country Day was led to victory by Olivia Owens and Aila Kaibara. Owens dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds, while Kaibara posted 12 points along with eight boards and eight steals. Owens also grabbed eight steals, which is notable because Phoenix Country Day is 18-1 when she posts at least three steals, but 3-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Erin Patterson, who earned 13 points and four steals.

Phoenix Country Day is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.4 points over those games. As for Tempe Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Phoenix Country Day wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-25 win against Arizona Lutheran Academy on the 6th. Tempe Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
