Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-7, 25-4.

Mikah Smith was a one-woman wrecking crew For Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience. as she had 13 aces. Those 13 aces gave Smith a new career-high.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2-1.
